ECO KIT SUMMARY:
An ECO kit exists for SYS$SCS on OpenVMS Alpha V6.1 through V7.0. This
kit addresses the following problems:
Problems Addressed in the ALPCLUS01_070 kit for OpenVMS Alpha V6.1,
V6.1-1H1, V6.1-1H2, V6.2, V6.2-1H1, V7.0
o Node hangs while trying to boot after sending a request for
cluster membership. The problem is due to a node having zero
send credits. Most frequently, the connection manager SYSAP
(VMS$VAXcluster) is the SYSAP effected. This behavior can also
occur when a connection is reformed.
Problems Addressed in the ALPCLUS01_070 kit for OpenVMS Alpha V6.2,
V6.2-1H1, V7.0
o Incorrectly allocating a new CDT (Connection Descriptor Table)
for an incoming connection request. This ultimately exhausts
the CDT list resulting in Cluster instability, loss of
connectivity and inability to reform a cluster.

INSTALLATION NOTES:
In order for the corrections in this kit to take effect, the system
must be rebooted. If the system is a member of a VMScluster, the
entire cluster should be rebooted.
